"My new baby!"

This was an amazing deal! New, this book costs $27.95. I found one on Amazon for $5.95 listed in "acceptable" condition. I emailed the seller (purely by accident, as I was trying to email a different seller about this same book). I got a prompt response from an "@law.Harvard.edu" email address.
The book was described as "A few pages have pencil markings (notations and/or underlining), the binding has come almost completely loose from the pages and the cover shows some shelf wear."
Even though I could probably get a book in better condition, this was cheap and it would be at least "usable". Here's what I have learned:
It's safe to buy law books from someone with a Harvard email!!! The book is almost in perfect shape! It has been used, but I've had brand new books fall apart this much on me the first time I opened them! I'm completely thrilled!
"Baby #2!"
This is my set of lecture tapes. I loved these! For a topic as potentially "snoozer" as taxes, these were interesting, at times funny even, and my 9-year-old daughter enjoyed them as well!
Baby #3!
New: $16.95
Amazon: $0.02
Now THAT is a good deal!
